Crumble the Stilton with your fingers. Peel the pears, cut into quarters and each quarter into 3 pieces. Place the pears in a saucepan with the wine, cinnamon and sugar. Cook over a medium heat until it has the consistency of syrup. Serve the pears warm with the Stilton crumbled on top. Notes You can also use apples.
